All creations at Bespoke Millinery are designed by Virginie Kan. She has always enjoyed being in a creative environment and previously worked in marketing and advertising. Ever since she can remember, she has had a passion for fashion and crafts. A few years ago she discovered millinery by accident when she enrolled in an evening class at Kensington and Chelsea College. She has not looked back since!
Virginie has studied with highly experienced milliners who have worked in both fashion and the film industry for many years. She is trained in both traditional hat making as well as theatrical and historical millinery.
Her designs are very much influenced from the late 19th century as well as the 1920s. She finds inspiration from nature and marine life and works with a combination of materials and fabrics.
Virginie Kan is located in Godalming, Surrey and provides Bespoke Millinery nationwide and overseas. Large or small commissions are welcome so whether you’re looking for your own tailor made hat for a wedding or Ascot, or an exclusive bridal tiara, or simply a little creation to adorn your outfit, Virginie will be delighted to design something for you.
